The Bickleton School is located on the western edge of The Horse Heaven Hills, and eastern edge of the Simcoe Mountains in Bickleton, Washington, in Klickitat County.  Bickleton is known to some as the Bluebird Capitol of the World.  It has derived this notoriety because of the hundreds of bird houses, built specifically for bluebirds, volunteers have placed throughout the community. 

Bickleton is located on a high plateau at an elevation of 3000 feet.

You can drive to Bickleton from the Yakima Valley by turning off SR 22 in Mabton on to Glade Road or Mabton/Bickleton Hiway.  Bickleton is 25 miles from Mabton. 

You can also travel to Bickleton from SR 14 along the Columbia River by turning at Roosevelt on to the Roosevelt Grade Road.  Continue on Roosevelt Grade Road, which turns into East Road.  Bickleton is 25 miles from Roosevelt.

You may also exit at Goldendale, Washington off SR 97.  About 1/4 mile from the Dairy Queen exit you turn to the east on the Bickleton Hiway.  Bickleton is 37 miles from Goldendale.
